Product Details

What is it? Shampoo bar for dry hair, with lots of cocoa butter to nourish and protect the hair and scalp. Soap-free, made with a blend of plant-based cleansers and conditioners that lathers and gently cleanses with no buildup.

Who is it for? A great choice for you if you wash your hair 1 to 2 times per week, and your hair feels dry. The shampoo bar for dry hair is also a great choice for swimmers or people who need to wash their hair frequently due to chemical exposure.

pH Balance: Formulated at pH ~5. This lets the hair cuticle lie flat to resist breakage and static, and maximizes natural shine. This pH also makes our shampoo bars safe for color-treated hair.

Highlighted Ingredients: Organic Fair-Trade cocoa butter to moisturize hair & scalp. Panthenol to nourish and strenthen the hair. Spearmint and lime essential oils for a fresh, clean aroma. Silicone free, paraben-free, and free from palm oil derivatives like sodium lauryl sulfate (Rainforest friendly!).

Other Helpful Info: Each 1.9-oz bar lasts about 40 washes and keeps 1 to 2 plastic bottles from going into the ocean or landfill. The shampoo bar is packaged in a compostable cardboard box.

How to Use:

1. Wet your hair.
2. Rub bar gently across hair / scalp to produce lather.
3. Set bar down. Massage hair and scalp to distribute shampoo.
4. Rinse!

To maximize the life of your shampoo bar, keep the bar on a draining dish or shower caddy away from standing water.

    Does a wonderful job of cleaning hair without drying. My hair feels silky after using this shampoo. I also use the conditioner. Have been using them for over a year. Love them!

    I bought my first bar on a whim at a market on the Cape. I love it. I've noticed a significant difference in my hair's softness and shine (I have very coarse dry hair). I use the dry hair conditioning moisturizing bar also. Love this. It is hard to get used to the bar, but I still love it.

    I met the owner last year at a craft show. I was highly sceptical about using a shampoo bar, since I had horrible results with other companies’ products. However, her explanation made sense to me and I tried the shampoo and conditioner. I have very thick and dry hair. I loved the results. My hair improved a lot! I highly recommend this shampoo bar.

    I am very picky about my shampoo and conditioner because I have super thick natural curly hair. I typically spend $100 every 2 months on my hair products. After my first use, I was hooked! Not only did the shampoo and conditioner bar work great, but my hair brushed out so easily and I didn't have to ask my husband to help me. My hair feels so much cleaner, like all the build up from my old products was finally washed out! Not only do I love these products, but my son, who is 5 years old, loves them too. He is able to wash his hair by himself and the shampoo does not sting his eyes. He loves doing the one swipe down the middle of his head and then lathering up!
