Our Purple Shampoo bar uses violet pigment to counteract brassy or yellow tones in gray, white, or color-treated hair — especially useful if hard water tends to leave your color looking dull, coppery or orange. Read more about how our purple bars work here.
This bar is a great choice for you if your light-colored or treated hair picks up brassy tones from hard water.
Mango seed butter and organic shea butter moisturize hair and scalp as you wash, so hair feels soft and manageable instead of dry. Lemongrass and lavender essential oils give this bar a bright, uplifting scent. Nothing synthetic, just plant-based aromatics.
pH Balance: Our slightly acidic pH (~5.5) protects the hair cuticle, reduces static, maximizes shine, and helps color treatments last.
Free from: Synthetic silicones, parabens, artificial fragrances, and palm oil-based cleansers — nothing artificial to build up on your scalp or hurt the planet along the way.
Other Helpful Info: Each bar lasts up to 40 washes, giving you salon-quality care for about 37 cents a wash AND keeps 2 plastic bottles out of our landfills and oceans. Packaged in a compostable cardboard box.

- Fully wet your hair and the bar with warm water so it can lather easily.
- Gently rub the bar directly on your scalp and roots.
- Set the bar aside, then use your fingertips to massage your scalp in circular motions for a minute to lift oils and buildup. Work the lather down the length of your hair with your hands.
- Leave the lather on for 1 to 3 minutes to let the purple pigment work, then rinse very well until hair feels slick and clean.
- Follow with our Purple Conditioner Bar for best results.
- Store your bar on a draining dish or slotted shower caddy, away from standing water, to make it last longer.
