It’s formulated especially for the face with an exquisite blend of organic oils including rosehip seed oil and jojoba oil. About the ingredients in Unscented Day & Night Facial Oil:
Organic Sunflower Oil: Softening, protective, noncomedogenic. Sunflower oil (Helianthus annuus) is high in Vitamin E and soothing linoleic acid.
Organic Rosehip Seed Oil: An astringent, penetrating oil high in Vitamin C and unsaturated fatty acids including linoleic acid. Rosehip seed oil (Rosa canina) helps promote skin regeneration, tightens pores and restores elasticity. It is considered a “dry” oil because it absorbs without leaving an oily residue.
Organic Jojoba Oil: Consists of liquid wax esters like those found in human skin. Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis) absorbs easily into the skin and balances our natural oil production. If your skin doesn’t produce enough natural oil, jojoba helps compensate. If your skin produces excess oil, applying jojoba helps it to reduce oil production. Jojoba is said to help cleanse blocked pores. Vitamin E and iodine in jojoba oil soothe skin and gently remove bacteria.
Shea Oil: Moisturizing, cleansing, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Shea oil (Vitellaria paradoxa) is high in oleic acid and stearic acid, which are cleansing and protective. It consists mostly of the unsaturated fractions of shea butter.
Organic Glyceryl Stearate: An emollient compound that thickens our oil blend and helps create a protective barrier on the skin surface to keep moisture in and dryness out. Our glyceryl stearate is derived from organic flax seed and sunflower oils.
Organic rosemary leaf extract: Antioxidant, stabilizes the oils.
Apply a small amount to fingertips and massage gently into clean facial skin. Start with less than you think you’ll need – a little goes a long way! Apply Day & Night Facial oil in the morning (it’s a nice base for makeup) and before bed.
